ALOHA!
Big Island Brochure, started in 1989, is a tourist publication distribution service. We have free standing brochure racks strategically placed around the Big Island of Hawaii, and we distribute to major hotels, resorts, and activity/concierge desks. Go to our Locations page to view our distribution list. We service and maintain these racks and desks on a regular weekly basis.
What's Needed
We would be pleased to include your advertising brochure among the others in our racks. We ask that our clients furnish us with an initial supply of 5,000 rack cards/brochures. These should be a 4” by 9” finished size. The first 1 ½” to 2” is what shows when the cards are in a pocket in the rack. It is important to have what you want to ‘catch’ people’s eye at the top and on both sides of your cards. When that initial supply runs low, we will contact you to arrange receiving an additional supply.

Pricing
We offer a competitive rate of $195+tax/month per slot. A verbal contract with prepayment for the first month will get you started. We recommend a 90-day commitment to give the service a chance to work for you. There is no contract – you pay, we deliver. A 30-day notice for cancellation is requested as a courtesy. Our billing is done once a month and payment is due upon receipt.
Requirements
You must be set up and contracted with an activity desk to be displayed at their locations. They require insurance, commission, and a fact sheet. Please let us know which activity desks you are connected to and we will distribute brochures to those desks when we call on them.
Not all activity desk locations we service are listed on the route list. They can and do change frequently.

The ‘Visitor Information Program’ (brochure/rack card pockets) at all Hawaii airports, has been changed. A new group, Hawaii Airport Advertising, has taken over. Please go to hawaiiairportadvertising.com to see what they offer and charge if you wish to be displayed at the Kona & Hilo airports.
Receive a free month of service if we are able to place a rack in a location you suggest.
Our free-standing racks are subject to location changes. We are always looking for a new place to display our clients that are protected from the weather and accessible.
